Strange Things are Afoot at the Circle-K

Now I’m not one to keep up on politics and things that go on in the world; I’m much too busy focusing on my four small children. But when I saw something about a missing plane in my Facebook news feed, well, I was intrigued. What do you think about that missing Malaysian plane? malaysia-airlines-b777-200erI find everything surrounding its disappearance so odd. When I first read about it, my first thought was the Bermuda Triangle. I mean, come on, one moment it’s there visible on radar and the next it has disappeared without any trace. Stranger things have happened, right?

Now it’s been 8 days since the flight went missing and they still know nothing more about where it is or what happened to it than they did when everything began. How is that possible in this day and age?

They are theorizing that it was hijacked. Okay, I get that. But if that’s the case, how do they explain why nothing at all has been heard concerning the hijacking, from the passengers or the hijackers? I may be wrong, but I would presume that if the plane was hijacked, that there would be a good reason for it (in the minds of the hijackers) and that reason would not include hiding the plane just because it looked pretty. What, did they put all those passengers to work as dancers? How have they kept over 200 people silent without a peep for 8 days? Even if they murdered all those people, wouldn’t the reason behind hijacking the plane have already begun to come to light?

When the World Trade Center was attacked and those planes hijacked, the world knew because of what immediately happened. The plane crashed into the twin towers. Another plane was making a beeline for the Pentagon. Passengers aboard the plane didn’t keep silent.

Explain this, people!

And why, when the Malaysian plane first disappeared, why was it broadcast over the news that it had crashed, only to later have that story changed?

Something is quite wrong with this one. Crashing doesn’t make sense, since no debris has been found anywhere. Hijacking doesn’t make sense to me, compared to previous hijacks we know of…all those people on that plane wouldn’t just give up trying to save themselves or contact their families; that is not what people do.

Like Bill said to Ted in “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” all those years ago when I was just a budding teenager, “Strange things are afoot at the Circle-K”.
